There was this writing contest in second grade. Julie won. The rest is history.

As Triad’s Creative Director, (and copywriter by trade), Julie oversees the messaging and visual direction for all Triad projects, from the smallest print ad to the largest website. She has spearheaded major campaigns for clients including Alcoa, LeTourneau Offshore Products, Michigan Peat Company, and Z-Seis Crosswell Seismic, as well as new business endeavors for the agency. Her background includes creative work for clients in a variety of industries ranging from fashion, travel, and technology to luxury hotels and resorts to pharmaceuticals. Name a category. She’s probably done work for it.

Prior to joining Triad, Julie served as Associate Creative Director for Travelocity.com, where she helped launch the current “gnome” campaign. Julie holds a Bachelors degree in Advertising from Oklahoma State University, where one of her instructors expressed doubt that she would be able to land that first job in advertising.

Clearly, he didn’t know about the second grade success story.
